There are smartphones, iPhones and there is the newest Huawei mate 10 pro.
As you probably know I used to have the Huawei P9 (check out my review about the P9 here) but NOW I upgraded myself to the Huawei mate 10 pro - & now the best part .... - Porsche Design Edition! *YAS!*
Not only was I one of the very first persons to put my hands on the mate 10 pro but also am I one of the very few ones to be able to test the better equipped and high-end version of Huawei’s new phone - the Porsche Design Edition!
For me being a huge, huge fan of Porsche cars and Porsche Design in terms of clothing, sportswear (they collaborate therefore with Adidas), Accessories like sunglasses (in collaboration with Rodenstock), Watches and technical equipment like notebooks (I just got the Porsche Design book one - which is really amazing & one of its kind on the market - more soon more on dennmitch.com) & of course smartphones, like the mate 10 pro - with Leica camera lenses - it was a huge honor being invited to the press presentation and release of the new smartphone a few days ago!
It was a huge event, very much comparable to the big events another big tech company - we all know very well - does every year... Being invited & having the chance to be one of the first ones to who the new products will be revealed was seriously exciting!
The whole presentation started of course with showing trailers and presenting the new mate pro 10... this was already interesting - but not as exciting as the Porsche Design Edition for me! Why? Here's the thing ...
I always feel like if you go for technical gadgets and equipment you should always go for the best ones, the smartest ones and the sexiest ones on the market. I always do so & it always turns out to be definitely the right choice in the long run! So of course I was super curious to see the new premium version of the mate 10 pro by Porsche Design.
And guess what! I did not got disappointed. PORSCHE DESIGN and HUAWEI have joined forces to build a breathtaking high-performance luxury smartphone. Designed for strength and style with a glass uni-body construction and sleek handcrafted exterior. Available exclusively in Diamond Black.
So now let’s take a closer look on the most important specifications of this design & tech wonder:

The 6.0" HUAWEI FullView 18:9 OLED Display has 2160 x 1080 pixels, 402 ppi and 16.7M Colours, with a Colour Saturation(NTSC) of 112% and a high Contrast of 70000:1.

The Huawei Mate Pro 10 uses the HUAWEI Kirin 970 - Octa-Core CPU (4*Cortex A73 2.36GHz + 4*Cortex A53 1.8GHz) + i7 co-processor, Mali-G72 MP12 GPU

It has a huge memory of 6GB RAM + 256GB ROM !
CAMERA
The main Camera consists of the 20MP Monochrome and the 12MP RGB camera with f/1.6 aperture and was co-ingeneered by Leica! Including OIS (Optical Image Stablisation), a Dual-LED Flash and PDAF + CAF + Laser + Depth Auto Focus with 2x Hybrid Zoom. Additionally it is able to do 4K Video Recordings!
The front Camera has really great 8MP FF and an aperture of f/2.0 !
BATTERY
The Battery has amazing 4000mAh ! So you will be able to make it through the day doing everything you want without the need of charging your smartphone.
